Andrew Sullivan's concise piece about same sex marriage made me re-think what it is exactly I opposed and what it is I believe marriage means. Living in Canada where same sex marriage has been legal for 3 years, I have to say, that the California Supreme Court decision has challenged my ideas more so than when it was an issue here in Canada.
